OmniK, a technology company backed by Grupo FCamara, has actively supported more than 60 young people from the NGO A Liga Digital, mainly in the Brasilândia region, in the northern zone of São Paulo, through free training in e-commerce and digital marketing.
The partnership goes beyond institutional support. Matheus Pedralli, CEO of OmniK, was elected one of the NGO's “superheroes.” “I deeply believe in the power of technology as a tool for social transformation. Being this class's superhero is an honor and a commitment to the future we want to build together: more accessible, diverse and fair,” he says.
The initiative reinforces OmniK's commitment to education as a tool for inclusion and transformation in the digital sector. The company, a reference in composable solutions for marketplaces, believes in the connection between education and employability as a way to drive the future of the market and train new professionals.
In addition to supporting this class in Brasilândia, OmniK already has a history of partnership with the NGO A Liga Digital, including support for the graduation ceremonies of digital marketing courses and support for students' visits to major digital market events.
“I'm just another dreamer, like these young people. It's always a pleasure to be able to help in some way. My advice is to keep pursuing the dream, because it's possible to achieve it, regardless of one's background or reality. I see all of them with a bright future ahead.”
According to Helenice Moura, co-founder of the NGO, the partnership with OmniK represents much more than institutional collaboration; it is a direct link between training and the real job market. “This connection broadens horizons and opens doors to paths that once seemed distant. For these young people, contact with a technology company is a real opportunity for life change,” she concludes.
Brasilândia gets practical, free course focused on employability
The course from NGO A Liga Digital was created to prepare young people between 16 and 23 years old to work in the digital market, by teaching practical and up-to-date skills.
Over 42 hours of in-person content, participants learn everything from creating online stores and online sales strategies to how e-commerce platforms work, as well as digital marketing and social media concepts. The training also includes a three-hour hackathon and a closing ceremony with certificate delivery.
Experienced professionals in the field, such as Cyntia Prado de Menezes, Rodolfo Vieira, Thiago Sarraf and Valmir Colodrão, teach classes and mentoring sessions, creating an immersive environment connected to the daily life of technology companies.
“Students leave ready for the job market to work in roles such as young apprentices, with a solid technical foundation, but also with skills that the market values, such as teamwork, good communication and critical thinking. We don't train them just to look for a job, but so they stand out and lead in the digital market,” says Edilaine Godoi, co-founder of the NGO.
Since its founding in 2020, A Liga Digital has already trained more than 8,000 young people in free technology courses, operating throughout Brazil. The students come from peripheral communities and are public school students. The organization already has stories of impact to show:
“Agata Monteiro, for example, took part in our first class, was hired by a startup and has now come back to work as a mentor. She also hosts our big classes and interviews leading market professionals on the NGO's livestreams. This shows how education creates a virtuous cycle,” says co-founder Helenice.
